Strong traditional drawing skills. Knowledge of artwork presentation preparation.
I studied Visual Art and Communication at the University of San Diego. I am enthusiastic, positive, have mastered multitasking, and I have the great passion for entertainment. Being a fine art major with an emphasis in drawing taught me to possess great attention to detail and be extremely well organized. I learned to prioritize my time in order to meet deadlines as well as work well with the other artists to produce shows. I have also had success working independently as a set designer and with many other departments in order to achieve a common goal within University of San Diego’s theatre department. I was responsible for managing the schedule and deadlines for the upcoming plays as well as reviewing scripts, planning meetings, and finding new projects for development.
In June 2013, I worked on a short film as the production designer. This was my first real opportunity to offer my creative and artistic knowledge to a project I really cared about. I was responsible for interacting with various on-production departments and crews in order to fulfill the directors vision. It was also my responsibility to maintain the consistency of props throughout the whole shooting process which required great attention to detail. The hard work from all of the crew as a collective paid off when the film was selected into the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and the San Diego Film Festival. The production experience I gained from this opportunity was what convinced me I wanted to continue working in this industry.
I currently work as a Production Assistant on various TV series around Los Angeles.
